Wolves, GRL, and more

It’s been a good week.

wolf pair red-beige I just submitted Hidden Wolves, book 4 – “Unsafe Exposure” to my MLR editor. Hopefully she will enjoy meeting Alex and Dylan, and seeing them navigate the Pack world, as the werewolves’ secrets become a lot harder to keep. My previous guys do have a part in the last half of the book, and I’m planning one more book… at least one more in the series after this to give Aaron, Zach and the rest a bit more story.

I’m also signed up as a featured author at GayRomLit in October. For those who are not familiar with GRL, it’s a 400-person reader and author retreat for folks who love M/M romance. It’s both a lovely chance to socialize with a big group of people who love the books, and who smile happily when a gay couple kisses, and also a chance to meet favorite authors, get swag, have books signed, hear readings, and more. Edmond Manning is going this year, so I hope we will see the (in)famous and hilarious Cock Walk for charity again this year.

GRL is in Kansas City, MO, this year, October 20-23. (Here’s the link – https://gayromlit.com/home) Author slots are now waitlisting, but I think there are still reader slots open. Look forward to seeing some of you there.

.

Now I’m going back to writing Tracefinder: Changes – book 2 in the series. I’m about 4/5 done with the first draft and having fun. Although Damon eventually showed up and he keeps messing up my plot for Brian and Nick…

I found the perfect cover picture for Brian for this book. No, not this one of Luger high-fiving him, although it’s tempting πŸ™‚

It took a long time to find a picture of a guy who was big and not muscular, sweet and young and blond… I can’t wait to finish the cover so we can show it to you.

Lot’s of stuff to do till then, though. Thanks for all the emails and posts about Tracefinder: Contact. It has been really fun watching how everyone seems to bring their own viewpoint to this book, and my complicated main characters. πŸ˜€

    • Thanks – I hope people have fun reading it. I’ve enjoyed watching Brian making changes (which is why I’m a pantser, not a plotter, I guess. More fun not to know…)

  2. I can’t wait to read the next book of Hidden Wolves, I loved every book of the series so far. Any idea about a release date?
I’m happy to know that you are making good progress on the next Tracefinder.
I’ve bought the first, but I’m waiting at least for the second before I read it. I’m sure this will be another amazing series, I have yet to read one of your books that I don’t like πŸ™‚

    • Usually with MLR it’s about 3 months – 4 months. A bit more variable right now because with both Amber Quill and Samhain closing, they have some authors trying to rerelease books via MLR so the pipeline is a bit more clogged up. I will let you know.

I hope you like Nick and Brian when you get to them but yes, the first book is not a cliffhanger at all, but it is a tentative HFN so if you like more closure the second book does move them along the relationship path. And thanks for the kind words.
